The Brazos Valley EDC and Texas A&M visted Bay Area companies and hosted a reception for Aggies on Tues, Feb 27, 6-8 pm at the lovely Rosewood Hotel at 2825 Sandhill Road in Menlo Park. Speakers included Pete ONeill, the new Chief Innovation Office for the Texas A&M System and Dr. Joe Elabd, the Vice Chancellor for Research for the Texas A&M System.

Guest Speaker Ray Rothrock '77 is a VC legend in Silicon Valley and Texas A&M Distinguished Alumnus. Ray is the former managing partner at Venrock, a past chair of the National Venture Capital Association, board member of Silicon Valley History Museum, and was listed on the Forbes Midas List in 2012 and 2013 for his investment successes.
